Minnesota Gun Owner Gets 5yrs for Celebratory Shooting at Street Dance

A Maple Grove man who was arrested in July for firing a shot during a crowded street dance in Deer Creek is headed to prison in St. Cloud for five years.
Anthony Edward Mitchell, 34, was convicted last week on one count of second degree assault with a dangerous weapon and one count of possessing a pistol after a previous conviction for a violent crime.
