Wednesday night's gun registry vote was a particularly personal one for a Liberal MP who shared with his caucus earlier in the day that his father recently used a long gun to take his own life. Newfoundland MP Scott Simms told his Liberal colleagues the emotional account of his father's death in June during their caucus meeting.
