MICHIGAN – They're packing heat, and proud of it.
Michigan law allows registered gun owners to carry their weapons openly, just about anywhere they want, but some gun rights activists say they've unfairly become targets for police.
State police will even admit that not all officers are properly trained to deal with the open carry law.
Chaney Overholts has been an advocate of open carry for years. He owns nearly 100 guns and even makes his own bullets.
