RICHMOND, Virginia - Three Virginia congressmen are asking their colleagues to support closing the so-called gun-show loophole. Democrats Jim Moran, Bobby Scott and Gerald Connolly sent a letter to members of the House of Representatives Thursday asking them to support a bill to require private sellers to perform background checks on buyers at gun shows.
