MOBILE, Alabama - Three witnesses testified Tuesday that the man who owned a Mobile gun store helped them evade background checks that would have barred them from buying firearms. Larry Dale McCoy owned Larry's Sporting Goods & Gun Shop, along with his wife, Lynda McCoy. Law enforcement officers shut down the Pleasant Valley Road store last year.
