181 Weapons, Submachine Guns Seized from Taiwan-Philippines Fisher

TAIPEI — Taiwan police have cracked a major firearms smuggling ring, seizing five men and 181 guns — the largest haul found in the island's history — officials said Sunday.
The police found the weapons in Hung Hsing, a fishing boat based southern Kaohsiung city, which had just returned on Friday from the Philippines, the officials said.
