Lebanese parliamentarians are appealing to the Lebanese Ministry of Defense for a 'weapons free' Beirut. The MPs will ask defense minister Elias Murr on Tuesday to authorize the Lebanese army to take strict measures in order to remove illegal weapons from the capital, the London-based Al-Quds Al-'Arabi reported.
