Ohio Man Pleads Guilty in Death of 7-year-old Nephew Shot With AK-47

COLUMBUS, Ohio — A man has pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter in the death of his 7-year-old nephew after he left the boy and his 6-year-old son home alone with a loaded AK-47 assault rifle.
Thirty-one-year-old Ernest Broomfield II also pleaded guilty Tuesday to tampering with evidence.
Prosecutors say the boys found the gun in a bedroom when Broomfield left to buy a cigar on July 29. They say the younger boy shot his cousin Isaiah Lewis in the face, killing... (GunPolicy.org)
