Tories Dump Private Bill, Canadian PM Tries Again to Kill Gun Registry

The Conservative government is taking another crack at scrapping the controversial gun registry.
Public Safety Minister Peter Van Loan made the surprise announcement late yesterday that legislation to kill the registry was tabled in the Senate. He said it's the same bill tabled twice in the last parliament.
