HAMILTON, Bermuda — Police are thought to have recovered an assault rifle in a raid.
The weapon — believed to be an AK47 — is being held by police as part of an investigation into gang activity.
Rumours have circulated for years that gangs in Bermuda possess assault rifles and other machine guns. However, this is thought to be the first time police have recovered such a weapon.
