CENTRALIA — If passed, a bill in the Missouri House could allow individuals to kill someone if they threaten their private or rented property.
It is currently legal to kill someone inside your home or automobile, if threatened. This new bill expands that right to include a person's property.
"This is a defense bill and only allows you to defend yourself, not only on your home, but your property as well," said Rep. Kenny Jones (R).
