ANNAPOLIS, Maryland — Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown urged lawmakers Thursday to require that judges remove guns from individuals facing final protective orders. Brown said the goal was "to take guns — all guns — out of the hands of domestic abusers." To do so, he advocated passage of two bills co-sponsored by the administration that would require the seizure of guns for final protective orders and grant judges the discretion to remove them for temporary ones.
