New US Senator, NRA Stalwart Vows to Take Wider View on Gun Issues

Senator Kirsten E. Gillibrand, who campaigned upstate for Congress last year as a stalwart opponent of gun control, vowed after meeting with the parents of a slain Brooklyn high school senior on Monday that she would lead the fight against gun violence as a senator for all of New York.
