BLOOMFIELD, New Mexico — A 20-year-old man who fired a shotgun into a crowd of people at a party was arrested for killing his brother, San Juan County sheriff's investigators said. Oscar Valdez of Bloomfield began firing into the crowd in an apparent effort to moderate a fight that had broken out between two women but then grew as several men became involved.
