HILLMAN — A 12-year-old boy was killed in a hunting accident during the early morning hours Sunday when he apparently dropped his rifle from an elevated deer blind, causing it to discharge. The bullet killed Eathan Hardies, son of Bill and Mary Hardies, instantly, according to a Montmorency County Sheriff's Dept. report.
