A Fort Lewis Army officer pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court on Monday to conspiring to export gun accessories, including holographic night-vision-compatible firearm sights, to Japan without a license.
Capt. Tomoaki Iishiba, 34, admitted in a plea agreement that on many occasions between 2006 and February 2008 he exported firearms parts from the United States to Japanese "individuals and business entities that Iishiba met through his contacts as a military officer"... (GunPolicy.org)
