Weekend gun violence in Chicago that sparked heightened concern from city leaders and the public killed at least seven people and left three dozen wounded, officials reported Monday. The weekend shootings came as warm temperatures in the Chicago area drew many people outdoors. Thirteen of the victims were Chicago Public School students, Mayor Richard Daley said Monday.
