OAKLAND — An Oakland woman was clinging to life Tuesday after a stray bullet from a drive-by shooting tore through her bedroom wall and pierced her head while she slept. Shanice Davis, 22, is in grave condition at a local hospital after the midnight shooting, which happened during a street memorial for an Oakland murder victim killed three years ago, police and neighbors said.
