A police inspector accused of murdering his wife killed himself on Saturday after apparently shooting his mother-in-law dead. Metropolitan Police officer Weddell, 45, who was out on £200,000 bail, is understood to have committed suicide yesterday morning at the Broomhills Shooting Club in Markyate, Herts.
