Massachusetts Governor 'Totally Frustrated' at Lack of Gun Control Progress

Gov. Deval Patrick is stepping up pressure on lawmakers to pass gun control legislation that has languished in committee for six months while gang violence in Boston and across the state has continued to escalate.
Patrick's proposal to put 250 more police on the streets was drastically reduced by lawmakers, who instead put the money in a community policing program that pays for a variety of different public safety initiatives.
