ALBANY — The city's police chief, a family court judge, a pastor and a criminal justice academic are among Mayor Jerry Jennings' six nominees to the Gun Violence Task Force. The council approved creation of the 13-member task force in July. The council, which must approve Jennings' choices, is expected to name an additional seven members sometime next month.
