An 18-year-old survivor of a gun attack outside her South Side home last weekend appeared in good spirits as she posed for pictures with the Rev. Jesse Jackson on Saturday. Taniya Ross was walking with her close friend Patrice Brown just a few doors from Patrice's house on 101st Street in Roseland, heading for a sleepover about 10:30 p.m. Aug. 24, when some youths started shooting at them.
