A cache of more than 600 guns has been seized from the premises of an Adelaide gunsmith. The weapons include an array of hangduns, shotguns and rifles — including a rare .50 calibre military sniper rifle which has a range of about 6km. They were seized last month after the police Firearms Branch audited Custom Gunsmiths at Ridleyton. The business is owned by Larry Chiera, who is known to police and the SA firearms community.
