WASHINGTON — The US House of Representatives approved a bill Wednesday designed to tighten gun ownership, nearly two months after a disturbed student went on the deadliest ever US school shooting rampage. The House passed the bill the same day the government issued a report on the Virginia Tech massacre, in which 33 people died, that omits any talk of tougher gun control laws.
