Two police highway patrol units were ambushed in the war-ravaged Nebilyer Valley on Friday morning and an AR15 assault rifle was seized by heavily armed warriors. The police cars were returning to Mt Hagen after escorting highway trucks bound for resource projects in the Southern Highlands Province when they were confronted by armed warriors.
