More than 3400 military weapons will be destroyed starting next week in what has been described as a move to standardise weapons to be held by the Papua New Guinea Defence Force. Documents from the Defence Force headquarters show a wide range of weapons, many high powered, bought by the force over the years now held by its various units around the country have been listed for destruction.
