The heavy artillery of the gun-ownership lobby threw its support Monday behind U.S. Sen. Wayne Allard, even though he and opponent Tom Strickland have voiced little difference on gun-ownership issues in this campaign. Allard was endorsed Monday by the National Rifle Association.
