Prince William lost his gun during firing practice at Sandhurst. The 24-year-old was given an ear-bashing by senior officers after the L86 assault rifle went missing. He had only been handed the weapon in the morning and was told to head to the firing range immediately. After losing the gun — capable of firing 775 rounds a minute — he spent two hours cycling around the Berkshire campus hunting for it. The trainee officer was then forced to return to his room...
