Canada's gun control laws don't work. That's the inescapable conclusion from this week's shootings at a downtown Montreal college, where a heavily armed man opened fire on the campus at midday. One person was killed, 20 others wounded — five critically — before police shot the gunman dead. Only swift response by police — on site within three minutes of the man opening fire — prevented even more carnage. The gunman was armed to the teeth, by all accounts.... (GunPolicy.org)
