The Papua New Guinea Defence Force (PNGDF) will dispose of more than 3000 military weapons at sea in a bid to standardise its arsenal. The force will ensure it complied with international small-arms conventions and keep the weapons out of reach of troublemakers who could disrupt next year's general elections.
