An off-duty Los Angeles police officer was in critical condition today after his 4-year-old son got hold of his service revolver and shot him while they were driving in Anaheim, police said. The 35-year-old officer, whose name was not released, was in his truck with his son when the shooting occurred about 11:45 a.m. near the intersection of La Palma Avenue and Harbor Boulevard.
