The chattering of a machine-gun had residents in the Mount Olive area scrambling for cover and frantically dialing 911, police said yesterday. "We had tons and tons of calls," Toronto police Det. Shawn Elliot said. "It was like a big 911 explosion. It's a miracle no one got hit." The gunfire broke out Monday around 6:30 p.m. near Mount Olive Dr. and Kipling Ave., he said.
