WILLIAMS LAKE, British Columbia — A Williams Lake secondary school vice-principal is being lauded for catching a fleeing student and taking away the loaded handgun he fired on a school bus. The incident began Monday morning on a school bus on which police said a male student was showing others a handgun he had somehow obtained. The gun was fired, shooting a hole in the floor of the bus.
