GENEVA — The damage caused by armed conflict to the economies of poorer countries is to be highlighted at an international conference in Geneva on Wednesday. Hosted by Switzerland and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the meeting also aims to inject momentum into global efforts to restrict small arms that are responsible for at least 300,000 deaths a year.
