A Canadian resident serving time in a U.S. penitentiary for trafficking guns was one of the main suppliers of firepower to the Jamestown Crew, the west-end street gang whose members and associates were rounded up during the largest anti-gang sweep in the city's history. Police sources say gang members were driving to the Six Nations Reserve near Brantford and buying guns from Earle Cooke, now serving time in an Oklahoma prison.
