In March 2004, we stood against a bill that would allow Kansas residents to carry concealed handguns. Almost two years later and with a similar bill in the legislature, our stance hasn't changed. We are in agreement with Gov. Kathleen Sebelius that the bill could mean more guns on Kansas streets, leaving residents less safe. Law abiding citizens should have every right to own a firearm. However for public safety, we should be moving toward less guns on the street... (GunPolicy.org)
