Is it really a good idea to start arming 8-year-olds? The state Assembly, apparently, thinks it is. Sunday's newspaper carried a report that the Assembly, by a lopsided 74-19 vote, approved a bill introduced by Rep. Scott Gunderson, R-Waterford, to lower the hunting age in Wisconsin from 12 to 8. Before the bill becomes law, the state Senate would also have to pass it and Gov. James Doyle would have to sign it. But why, in the name of all that's holy, would anyone... (GunPolicy.org)
