Gun Owners Set to Fight Rifle Ban

WELLINGTON — Gun owners are preparing to fire all political and legal shots in their fight to prevent a possible ban on military-style, semi-automatic rifles.
About 35 competitors from around the country competed for the fifth annual Charles Upham Memorial shooting championship at the Sommerville Range, Trentham, yesterday.
But it could be the last national competition shoot for MSSA owners before a predicted ban on the firearms.
