Yesterday's Weapons Keep Doing the Rounds

Yesterday's weapons of war in colonial wars are still doing the rounds in Southern Africa, used for crime and ethnic violence. There could be as many as four million light weapons in the region.
Smuggled weaponry is being used in southern Africa's wars, says Frank Msutu, head of Interpol sub-regional bureau for southern Africa. Experts estimate that there are up to four million unregulated light weapons doing the rounds in the region.
