Two women, one a young daughter of a former national parliamentarian and the other a breast feeding mother, were pack-raped at gun point in Mendi last week. Since police scaled down their operations after silencing savage tribal fighting, factions from the Unjumap and Wogia tribes and opportunists now have resorted to other criminal activities.
