BANGOR — A former officer of a gun club has been convicted of illegal possession of firearms. Thirty-six-year-old Peter David Frost of Meddybemps faces up to ten years in prison after a federal jury in Bangor found him guilty of the charge. Prosecutors say Frost was not allowed to possess firearms because he was dishonorably discharged from the U.S. Marine Corps.
