A gun dealer has been prevented by the Home Office from trading in weapons with security and police forces in the Far East because the firearms he wants to sell are banned in Britain. Alasdair Farquharson, of Telford, Shropshire, has been refused a licence to build up an export business in which he has already invested more than £45,000.
