Two more police officers have been suspended in an inquiry into suspected fraud in the firearms compensation scheme which followed the Government ban on handguns. A total of seven South Yorkshire officers and one civilian member of staff have now been suspended since police launched an investigation last November after internal auditing revealed irregularities.
