Solicitudes para armas de fuego
Artículo 148: Las solicitudes para cualquier clase de operaciones en estos renglones, se formularán ante el Ministerio de Defensa Nacional, conteniendo las especificaciones establecidas en el artículo 144, como asimismo las relacionadas con su calidad y calibre.

Artículo 149: En caso de importación de munición para las pistolas automáticas, deberá acompañarse muestra de la misma: sin cuyo requisito no se dará curso a la solicitud.
Asimismo siempre que se solicite autorización de despacho para munición de calibre 22, deberá acompañarse, muestra de la misma, sin cuyo requisito no se tramitará la solicitud.

Firearm Requests
Article 148: Requests for any type of operation regarding this matter [Customs operations on firearms and related materials] shall be made to the Ministry of National Defence and shall contain specifications established in article 144, as well as those related to the quality and size of the materials.
In cases of import operations, the application shall be submitted to the Ministry, with sufficient time before the acquisition and shipment of the products in their country of origin in order to facilitate the process of granting the import authorisation…
