Artículo 184. Estado de Aptitud Psicofísica

Las comisiones médicas autorizadas por el Ministerio de Salud Pública, expiden el certificado médico de salud, donde conste el estado de aptitud psicofísica del solicitante para portar y usar armas de fuego, el que tendrá validez por un término de cinco (5) años contados a partir de la fecha de expedición. Este certificado se entrega por la comisión al oficial de la Policía Nacional Revolucionaria designado. En ningún caso puede ser entregado al solicitante de Licencia de Armas de Fuego.

Article 184. Psycho-physical State

Medical commissions authorised by the Ministry of Public Health shall issue the medical health certificate, which outlines the psycho-physical state of the applicant to carry and use firearms, which shall be valid for five (5) years, starting from its date of issuance. This certificate shall be handed over by the commission to the appointed National Revolutionary Police officer. Under no circumstances shall it be handed over to the applicant for a Firearms Licence.
