El permiso es el documento oficial expedido por el Ministerio del Interior, que autoriza a las personas naturales o jurídicas para realizar con las armas objeto de licencia o permiso, accesorios y municiones, la importación, exportación, almacenamiento, exhibición, transportación, comercialización, prestación de servicios de armería, su uso en actividades fílmicas, televisivas, teatrales y de carácter artístico; así como para la construcción o puesta en marcha de almacenes, talleres, centros recargadores de cartuchos, polígonos y campos de tiro deportivos. Para realizar las actividades antes mencionadas es obligatoria la presentación previa del permiso correspondiente a las autoridades pertinentes.

Article 120. Permits

A permit is the official document issued by the Ministry of the Interior which authorises individuals or legal persons to carry out the import, export, storage, exhibition, transport, commerce, gun-shop [armoury] services, use in film, TV, theatre and other artistic activities of firearms subject to licence or permit, their accessories and ammunition; as well as the construction or set up of storage premises, workshops, cartridge reloading centres, shooting rings and sports shooting areas. To carry out activities listed above, prior presentation of the corresponding permit to the competent authorities is obligatory.
