Artículo 86. Registro de Almacenamiento

Los jefes de las entidades que se autoricen para almacenar o exhibir armas de fuego y municiones, habilitan un libro de Registro y Control, foliado de acuerdo con las regulaciones establecidas al respecto por el Ministerio del Interior, el que será certificado por dicho organismo. Mantienen a su vez un estricto control sobre las llaves de uso diario y reserva, las cuales se controlan mediante documento oficial de Registro y Control de los que acceden al almacén, local o sala, habilitados para almacenar o exhibir armas de fuego y municiones, que incluye fecha, hora, firma y motivos del acceso; las llaves permanecen en un lugar que impida acceder a estas al personal no autorizado.

En relación con la información que se deberá registrar, se creará un registro digital paralelo al aquí previsto.

Article 86. Storage Registration

Heads of entities authorised for the storage or exhibition of firearms and ammunition must keep a register, in accordance with provisions established by the Ministry of the Interior, which shall be certified by this authority. They shall maintain a strict control over the keys, be these for daily use or spare copies, which shall be monitored through an official document of Control and Registration of those who have access to the storage room prepared for the storage or exhibition of firearms and ammunition, and shall include the date, hour, signature and reason for the access. The keys shall be kept in a place which prevents unauthorised personnel having access to them.

With respect to the information to be registered, a parallel digital register shall be compiled.
