Article 60. Third or Fourth Class Licences

Individuals who do not possess a Firearm Licence and wish to acquire a firearm from authorised entities, with the aim of obtaining a Third and Fourth Class Licence, must be active members of hunting and sports shooting federations, as required; without such membership, no firearm may be sold.

After the purchase of the firearm, the latter shall not be handed over directly to the buyer, but shall remain in storage premises of the entity that sold it, until the appropriate licence has been issued. After the purchase, the buyer shall provide the documents proving the transfer for its legalisation to a Municipal Station of the National Revolutionary Police of his place of residence, and comply with requirements listed for obtaining the licence, in accordance with the type of firearm purchased and the licence class applied for.

Should the firearm licence not be issued, the firearm shall reintegrate [into] the assets of the commercial entity and the money shall be transferred back to the buyer.
