Artículo 1. Objeto

El presente Reglamento tiene por objeto establecer las normas generales para la fiscalización y control sobre las armas, sus accesorios y municiones, en virtud de las regulaciones establecidas en el Decreto-Ley No. 262 "Sobre Armas y Municiones", relacionadas con las actividades siguientes:

a) La exportación e importación temporal y definitiva de las armas de fuego, municiones, así como de los correspondientes accesorios, lo que respectivamente se especifica en los artículos siguientes.
b) La tenencia, porte, uso, tránsito, comercialización, transmisión, transportación, almacenamiento, mantenimiento, reparación, medidas de seguridad, ocupación, decomiso y hallazgos, obligaciones, prohibiciones, licencias, permisos, requisitos y demás vinculadas relacionadas con las armas objeto de licencia o permiso.
c) La tenencia, porte, uso y transporte de las armas de uso limitado.
d) Las armas y municiones prohibidas.

Artículo 2. Cumplimiento

El presente Reglamento es de obligatorio cumplimiento para todas las personas naturales y jurídicas poseedoras de Licencia de Armas de Fuego o que realicen cualquier actividad de las referidas en el artículo anterior.

Article 1. Scope

The present Regulation establishes general norms for the monitoring and control of firearms, their accessories and ammunition, under regulations established in the Decree-Law No.262, "On Firearms and Ammunition", related to the following activities:

a) The permanent and temporary import and export of firearms and ammunition, as well as their corresponding accessories, as specified in the following articles;
b) The ownership, carrying, use, transit, commerce, transfer, transport, storage, maintenance, repair, security measures, occupation, seizures and findings, obligations, prohibitions, licences, permits, requirements and any other activity associated with firearms that are the object of licences or permits;
c) The ownership, carrying, use and transport of firearms of restricted use; and
d) Prohibited firearms and ammunition.

Article 2. Compliance

All individuals and legal persons in possession of a Firearm Licence or carrying out any of the activities referred to in the previous article must comply with the present Regulation.
