Artículo 48. Venta de Municiones

Las autoridades militares de que trata el presente Decreto, podrán vender municiones a los titulares de los permisos correspondientes. A juicio de la autoridad competente, podrá exigirse además de la presentación del permiso, la presentación del arma.

Parágrafo. El Comando General de las Fuerzas Militares, determinará las cantidades y tipo de munición, clase y la frecuencia con que pueden venderse, por cada tipo de arma y por cada clase de permiso.

Article 48. Ammunition Sales

Military authorities referred to in this Decree may sell ammunition to the bearers of relevant permits. Depending on the competent authority, the applicant may be asked to present the firearm, in addition to the permit.

Paragraph. The General Command of the Military Forces shall determine the quantities and the type of ammunition, their class and the frequency with which they may be sold, for each type of firearm and for each class of permit.
